The designer, who created the dress exclusively for Royal Ascot, said that the look is \u201celegant, optimistic and distinctly modern\u201d, and it reflects the brand\u2019s \u201csignature approach to occasion dressing, where femininity, craftsmanship and contemporary sophistication come together\u201d. Zara paired the dress with a colour-matching clutch by Anya Hindmarch<\/a> (\u00a31,150) and the Claudia gold heels by Emmy London<\/a> (\u00a3545).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The royal finished the whole look with a pair of champagne sunglasses by Finlay<\/a> (\u00a3160).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Zara\u2019s dress was custom-made and is not available to purchase online, the total of Thursday\u2019s wardrobe would be over \u00a34,800.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Fans loved Zara’s look and took to social media to praise her.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

One user said on Royal British Fashion’s Instagram page: \u201cThere are two Queens of style,at Ascot. Francesca and Zara.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Another user added: \u201cNo doubt the best dressed at Ascot.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

A third one chimed: \u201cShe is hitting it out of the park this Ascot!!\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

On Thursday, Zara was joined by other members of the Royal Family, including the King and Queen, the Princess Royal and the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Royal Ascot racegoers were a riot of colourful hats as they celebrated Ladies\u2019 Day with a display of weird and wonderful designs.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Ostrich feathers, pipe-cleaner flowers and even a miniature chair were some of the creations worn on the heads of racing fans.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The Queen praised the sartorial elegance of the female racegoers, when quizzed about Royal Ascot\u2019s charm: \u201cWell it\u2019s the best of British really, isn\u2019t it.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cI mean it doesn\u2019t matter whether you love horses, don\u2019t know much about horses, you come here for a really good day to experience a bit of fun, the best racing in the world, the best horses \u2013 the elegant women.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

\u201cAnd I think, the world we live in, it\u2019s wonderful just to get away and enjoy yourself and that\u2019s what Ascot does. You get the pageantry and the procession \u2013 I love it, it\u2019s five days of pleasure.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
