For the miniseries, four original aircraft were sourced to add a layer of authenticity to filming, with two North American B-25 Mitchell medium bombers, a Douglas C-47 Skytrain military transport, and a Junkers Ju 52 transport being used by the makers.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
