But to try and help with your ever-growing TBR, Goodreads has created a list of top books from the past 100 years.<\/p>\n<p>Essentially, if you read one book from each year of <a data-link-tracking=\"InArticle|Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.express.co.uk\/latest\/viral-news\">release<\/a>, it should be this one.<\/p>\n<p>They explained that they wanted to cover a \u201cwide range of genres, topics, authors, and ideas,\u201d rather than just choosing the most \u2018popular\u2019 book from each year, as they joked that some years were \u201cvery Agatha Christie\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Sharon from Goodreads explained that \u201cyou\u2019ll see several stone-cold classics, along with a few books you probably read in your high <a data-link-tracking=\"InArticle|Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.express.co.uk\/latest\/school\">school<\/a> English class\u201d.<\/p>\n<p data-mce-linkchecker-status=\"valid\">So, which are the best books from each year?
