So far, though, she\u2019d be chilled about it and \u201clet it slide,\u201d but it was \u201cthe last straw\u201d when they kept her up during the night before she had an exam.<\/p>\n
She explained: \u201c Every couple of nights, they wake me up with their activities. Last night was the last straw, though. I had a big exam the next morning, and at 4am, they were going at it full volume. I got up and banged on the door like I was about to break in.<\/p>\n
\u201cShe came out and asked what my problem was, and I told her straight up that the deed cannot be that good for her to be screaming like a monkey at 4am, and that she needs to shut the f**k up because I have an exam at 9am\u201d.<\/p>\n
She left it at that, went back to sleep, then sat her exam in the morning – but when she got home, her roommate labelled her \u201cdisrespectful\u201d for confronting the pair in such a way, saying \u201cshe has a right to do whatever she wants in her own room\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u201cI told her I don\u2019t care if they do the deed or not, but I do care when it keeps me from sleeping, especially when I\u2019m paying rent too. She stormed off all p****d, and now I\u2019m sitting here overthinking whether I was out of line or if I\u2019m just an a**hole,\u201d she penned.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In the comments, people reassured her that she wasn\u2019t in the wrong. Someone wrote: \u201cWhile yes, more communication should\u2019ve been had (#1 issue for most people I\u2019ve noticed), she should also have the respect and decency to at least be quieter.<\/p>\n
\u201cLike there\u2019s literally sooo many ways this could\u2019ve been prevented in their end, but they just didn\u2019t care. I\u2019d say setting up some ground rules for the house is your next best bet\u201d.<\/p>\n
Another added: \u201cI think it would’ve been common sense not to cause disturbance to other people\u201d.<\/p>\n
Somebody seethed: \u201cIt\u2019s gross and inconsiderate, let that be the last straw and keep standing up for yourself and don\u2019t back down\u201d.<\/p>\n
One said that she shouldn\u2019t have said some of the things she said though, writing: \u201c\u2018Screaming like a monkey\u2019 and \u2018shut the f**k up\u2019 are disrespectful ways to provide feedback that the noise is unacceptable\u201d. Another quipped: \u201cNot at 4am on a school day it ain’t\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
